Fee schedule
The Pharmacy and Medicines Regulatory Authority (PMRA) is mandated by law to charge fees in respect to certificates, permits, authorizations and licences issued under the PMRA Act, No. 9 of 2019. The current PMRA regulatory fees were gazetted on 8th April, 2022 under the Pharmacy and Medicines Regulatory Authority (Fees and Forms) Regulations, 2022.
Note that it is a regulatory requirement under Section 45 (1) of the PMRA Act that every holder of a license under the Act is supposed to pay annual retention fees. Furthermore, Section 45 (2) of the Act, empowers the Authority to charge penalties to all licensees who do not pay their retention fees before 31st March of each financial year.
